Welcome to EWEN, this website is the home of the European Workshop on Equine Nutrition. Here you will find information on the EWEN scientific and organising committees and contact details.
Following the 2022 meeting the EWEN community decided to set up EWENA (European Workshop on Equine Nutrition Association), a copy of the original constitution can be found in this link. Work is ongoing to bring this to fruition and we hope to have this fully launched for the next EWEN in 2024.
EWEN has a new chair or the Scientific committee
Following the 2022 meeting in Cirencester Dr Rasmus Bovbjerg Jensen has become the chair of the EWEN scientific committee. Rasmus takes over from Prof Meriel Moore-Colyer who has been chair for the last 4 years, Meriel is stepping off the scientific committee but will be heading up the new association. Details on the association and new EWEN Scientific Committee to follow alongside proceedings of the August 2022 meeting please watch this space.

The next full EWEN conference will be in 2024 in Norway
The European Workshop on Equine Nutrition is coming to Norway the 1st to 4th of July 2024. The event will take place in Oslo and at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. There will be invited keynote speakers, workshops, and the EWEN scientific committee welcome your scientific contributions on equine nutrition. Conference details and information on abstract submission and registration will come in the autumn 2023.
